a remake of Neko Princess that i did months back.
Featured as guest art for SURFACE artbook by 's team.

Wanted to make a sort of comparison between my current stuff and stuff i did 4 years ago with the same theme.

Technique wise i think i improved. But there was a point which my bro brought up which i feel is quite true...the works i've done thus far lack 'life' within it >.<"

In that aspect i have not improved and i am lost as to how to work on that part. I've always knew about it and tried to improve on it but looks like a failed orz. Suggestions or advice anyone?

I think i am too rationalle when it comes to applying my techniques...i measure, use common sense, think things through too much when i'm drawing. Lately i do less of it and sometimes even not at all, but i think habits die hard and subconsciously i have applied what i have tried to avoid again...
